While thinking on what to write next, I realized that a lot of people (including me) out there has made some wrong decision, when it comes to buying an Android phone or tablet, Thats why I decided to write this 7 tips on things to watch out for, before buying an Android device.
1. O.S (operating system)
The o.s of an Android device is quite important and also not important because you can root your device and upgrade it to any operating system of your choice. But i recommend you buy a device with an higher o.s, cos rooting has some advantages and disadvantages which we would talk about later.
2. Storage/ram
Does it have a good storage capacity e.g my ex-android phone has only application space, meaning you can't keep music, pictures, videos and other files without a memory card. So if doesn't have a good ram I won't advice you to go for it cos that means you will need some spacious memory card lets say at least 8gb which may cos some fortune.
3. Battery life
How strong is the battery life, if its not strong I don't advice you to go for it, except you will buy an extra battery or you have a second phone in case of emergency.
4. Camera
I love good pictures, who doesn't? check the Mega pixel, plus, does it have a secondary camera/front camera (majorly for Skype lovers ) does it have a flash light (what if u want to snap in the night or you need a flash light to see in the dark) ?
5. Network
Does it allow every sim or its locked to a particular country or sim? Is it on 2g, 3g or 4g? I advice you go for at least 3g
6. Screen resolution
If you are a movie or game freak (like me) I advice you go for a good screen resolution.
7. Cost
Is it costly with useless features or cheap with some wonderful features or vice versa.
P.s : If you have any question or better tips or you don't agree with me, feel free to drop your comments and if you have find the tips useful, why don't you share it with your friends.<
