There are
cases where you have limited data and your turn off all your windows update,
antivirus update but there is still that stubborn app consuming your data. Do
you know that the devil could be bluestacks (lol.) you have to remember not
everything is free in this world, even in free town, nothing is free.
Bluestacks may seems to be a free android emulator to you but it is not, the
app providers must make some cool cash for you , from the internet , so they
expect you to pay about 2 dollars per month or download their sponsored apps,
which some people out there paid than better cash to advertise, so when you
connect to your modem or phone to browse some of this sponsored apps maybe be
downloading in the background, and you could also forget to switch off
auto-update in the play store or other application store you have (e.g mobo
market) and you could have set some apps to auto-update themselves. So Let ours
move to our post where we will learn how to run bluestacks totally free without
consuming extra data
How to stop
bluestacks from consuming your data :
- - Open you application store such as play store or mobo market go to settings and turn off auto-update
- - The main part of it all. Go to settings(bluestacks settings in the app menu )
- - Select apps
- - Select all apps
- - Look for download manger , click it and disable it
- - Do the same to download and you are good to go
NOTE
whenever you want to update your apps via bluestacks you have to enable download
and download manger back. HAVE fun
Will love to
hear your comments (problems during this settings, and other contributions)

DeleteOh sorry Aimal Saidy that was the settings i did for mine and its working fine it stops bluestacks from downloading apps in the background. maybe its some other apps, Also check your pc and other apps like your antivirus.
ReplyDeletethanks for the tip. hd plus service.exe & hd plus frontend.exe were two heavy data monsters.if you disable them on firewall then you can't use any apps that requires net through bluestack like whats up.so better option is make that two exe files enabled on firewall and disable apps in bluestack settings which consumes unnecessary data.
ReplyDeleteThanks !
DeleteI can't see download manager and download in this version. Help
